PRIVACY POLICY

We recognize that you may be concerned about our use and disclosure of your personal information. Your privacy is very important to us, and the following will inform you of the information that we, Sublette Law, may collect from you, and how it is used.

CONSENT
By using our website, www.sublettelaw.com, you are accepting the practices described in this policy, including your consent to the collection and use of information as specified below. If we make changes to our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. Please review this page frequently to remain up-to-date with the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. You must review the new Privacy Policy carefully to make sure you understand our practices and procedures.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect non-personal information, such as a domain name and IP Address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. We may also collect information about the type of Internet browser you are using, operating system, what brought you to our Website, as well as which of our Web pages you have accessed.

Additionally, if you communicate with us regarding our Website or our services, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication. We may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

INFORMATION WE USE
We use the collected information primarily for our own internal purposes, such as providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving our services and Website, fulfilling requests for information, and providing customer support.

TRAFFIC DATA
Each time a visitor comes to our website, our Web server software—like most Web server software—collects some basic technical information, including, for example, the visitor’s domain (for example, whether the user is logged on from aol.com, earthlink.net, and so on), referral data (for example, a record of a search engine results page address or other third party web page address containing a link to www.sublettelaw.com clicked on by a user to reach www.sublettelaw.com) and browser and platform type (such as the Safari browser on an Apple iMac computer, or Internet Explorer on a Windows computer).

We may count, track and aggregate website visitor activity into our analysis of general traffic flows at our site (such as tracking which other websites our visitor traffic comes from, how traffic flows within our website, and so on). We may merge information about visitors and visits into group data, but we will not disclose your individual identity or personally identifiable data without your permission. In the event that we present aggregated information to any outside third party, no one will be able to use this data to identify you or to contact you.

We may also, from time to time, participate in third-party statistical traffic analysis programs, such as Google® Analytics. These third parties may be able to associate your activity on our website with your personal information if you have created a user account with one of their websites. For example, if you use the same computer and Internet connection to sign up for a Google® Gmail account and to visit our website, Google® could infer a relationship between the two activities via a cookie (see below) stored on your computer or based upon the common Internet connection address.

COOKIES
A “cookie” is a small amount of data sent to your browser by a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are generally used to store information on your computer that will be useful when you visit other pages within a website, or when you return to the same website at a later date. For example, we use cookies to store your font size preference. We may also use cookies, from time to time, to help deliver product selections and advertisements, to identify the unique browser types that visit our website, and to track the visitor traffic and linking patterns throughout our website. We may also use cookies to make transaction processes more convenient for our site visitors. Cookies only identify specific computers and do not have the ability to identify specific individuals.

TESTIMONIAL LETTERS
SubletteLaw.com may on occasion publish excerpts from customer testimonial letters, or facsimile images of testimonial letters. In connection with such publication, we ask testimonial letter authors to include a phone number and physical address, so we have the ability to verify the identity and authorship of all testimonials. However, with respect to personal identifiers, we will never publish more than a name and a city or county. Further, if we publish a facsimile image of an actual letter, we will obscure any street address and contact information. We will not ever sell, trade or otherwise disclose this information to any third party without your permission.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information online from children under the age of 13. Please contact us as provided below in the Contact Us section if you believe we may have collected such information without parental or guardian consent.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of “Personal Information” (as defined by California law) to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to clients@sublettelaw.com.

In addition, the state of California provides California residents with certain other rights concerning their Personal Information. This section describes (1) the categories of Personal Information, collected and disclosed by sublettelaw.com, subject to California privacy law, (2) your privacy rights under California privacy law, and (3) how to exercise your rights.

You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

SHARING
We will not sell or otherwise provide the information we collect to outside third parties for the purpose of direct or indirect mass email marketing.  We will disclose personal information and/or an IP address when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  1. Cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities and conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on our company
  2. Protect and defend the rights or property of our Website and related properties

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example through e-mail, discussion boards, or elsewhere - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

ULTIMATELY, YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE SECRECY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND RESPONSIBLE WHENEVER YOU ARE ONLINE.
